The Siege of Scarn is the first installment in the Trance Warriors saga, and what a promising beginning it is. The world that Robert C. Auty creates is a world that will entertain and excite readers of Fantasy Fiction, a world of Dwarfs, Elves, Gods and Demons. At times, the modern dialogue is a little bit distracting because the book is set in an ancient and fantastical world, but you forget about the modern language as the book progresses and become totally entranced by the story. If you enjoy books such as The Fellowship of the Ring, you will enjoy The Siege of Scarn.
Auty’s book is filled with romance, mighty battles, power struggles and glorious revelations, and the Epilogue promises much more to come.
